Nana Ansah, the Kontihene of Ntonsua, has voiced his disappointment in Member of Parliament Hon. Kwaku Kwarteng over what he describes as an unfulfilled promise to repair the town’s poor road network. According to Nana Ansah, the MP visited the community during his campaign and assured residents that the road would be fixed after the elections.

However, Nana Ansah revealed that since the election ended, the MP has not returned to the community or provided any update about the road project. He explained that the people of Ntonsua feel neglected, as the poor road conditions continue to affect daily movement, trade, and access to essential services.

In his remarks, the Kontihene of Ntonsua appealed for urgent action from the authorities, stressing that good roads are key to development and community growth. He added that residents are losing confidence in their leaders due to repeated unfulfilled promises.

Despite the disappointment, he expressed a bit of optimism following the assurance from the new Municipal Chief Executive, Hon. Faustilove Appiah Kannin. The MCE has promised to ensure the road is constructed soon. Nana Ansah said the community is hopeful that this time, the promise will be kept and work will finally begin on the road.

Residents of Ntonsua continue to look forward to the start of construction, hoping that their needs will be prioritized and bring lasting development to the area.
