Senator Ned Nwoko has finally spoken out about the viral video showing Regina Daniels in distress, calling her recent actions a result of drug and alcohol influence. The Delta North Senator shared his side of the story on social media, explaining that his wife’s behavior has changed due to what he described as “drug-induced episodes.”
According to Nwoko, Regina Daniels has been struggling with drug and alcohol abuse, which he claims is the real reason behind the growing tension in their marriage. In a post shared on his verified Instagram account, the lawmaker expressed fear for her safety if she does not continue her rehabilitation program.
“Regina was not always like this. Her current battle with drugs and alcohol abuse is the root of our problem. She must continue her rehabilitation program, or I fear for her life and safety,” Nwoko stated.
He alleged that while he was away, Regina Daniels became violent, attacking staff members and damaging property at their home. Nwoko said he offered her two rehabilitation options — one in Asokoro and another in Jordan — where she would not have access to drugs. He further claimed that some of her close friends have been supplying her with harmful substances, making the situation worse.
The senator explained that during one incident, while he took their son Moon to the hospital, chaos broke out at home. He accused Regina’s brother, Sammy West, and two other individuals of enabling her behavior and providing drugs. Nwoko described the entire scene as heartbreaking and said he only wishes for his wife to get professional help and recover fully.
The controversy surrounding Regina Daniels began after a viral video surfaced showing the actress crying and shouting that she could no longer endure violence in her marriage. In the clip, she was seen saying, “In Ned Nwoko’s house, I am nothing, but in my own house, I am a queen. I can’t stand the violence anymore.”
Her brother, Sammy West, also reacted on Instagram, accusing Nwoko of physically assaulting his sister and promising to protect her at all costs. The senator, however, denied being abusive and said he has never raised his hand against any of his wives.
