Kokoteasua installs new Odikuro after more than two years of waiting, marking a new beginning for the Obuasi-based community. The town, which had been without a traditional leader since the passing of the previous chief, has now officially welcomed Nana Appiah Darkwa to the stool.

Known in private life as Mr. John Addai, and popularly called Energy 1, the newly enstooled chief was chosen after long deliberations and traditional rites. His installment brings relief and hope to residents who have long yearned for unity and direction.
