Big Piero of Big Piero Company Limited has donated food items to the Anwiam Community in the Obuasi East Municipality as part of a strong commitment to social responsibility. The donation was made to support vulnerable families and improve living conditions within Obuasi and its surrounding areas, bringing hope and relief to many residents.
During the Christmas season, Big Piero provided bags of rice, cooking oil, and other essential cooking items to members of the community. The support helped families prepare meals and enjoy the festive period despite economic challenges. Many residents described the gesture as timely and deeply appreciated.
In addition to food support, it was revealed that a housing system is being built to relocate community members whose homes have been affected by chemicals from mining waste.
