The AGA Obuasi Community Trust Fund is set to build a 2-unit ultramodern KG block at the Antoboase Methodist School in Obuasi. This important project shows the commitment of the trust fund to improve education in the community.
At the ground-breaking ceremony, Hon. Faustilove Appiah Kannin, the MCE for Obuasi Municipal, thanked the AGA Obuasi Community Trust Fund for easing the burden of the Municipal Assembly. She explained that education is a top priority for the President of Ghana, and this project proves the importance of supporting children’s learning from the foundation stage. She also praised the trust fund for recently opening a fully equipped health centre at Mamiriwa.

Mr. Arnold Ackon, speaking on behalf of AGA, noted that the old KG building was unsafe for children and needed urgent replacement. He emphasized that young learners deserve a safe environment that supports quality education. The Trust Fund took up the request after it was presented by the assembly member of the area.
He added that good education starts at the early childhood stage, and providing a modern facility is a way to give children a strong start in life. The construction of the new KG block at Antoboase Methodist School has officially begun, and the community is hopeful it will be completed on time and safely for the benefit of the children.
