Hon. William Kofi Adzowu has officially broken ground for the construction of three major projects in the Obuasi East Municipality, aimed at improving healthcare and education in the area. The projects include the construction of a Health Center with Nurses’ Quarters at Domeabra, a KG Classroom Block with ancillary facilities at Nyamesomyede, and a JHS Classroom Block with ancillary facilities at Asonkore. The move has been widely welcomed by residents, who see it as a significant step toward addressing pressing infrastructure needs in their communities.
Speaking at the ceremony, Hon. Adzowu charged the contractors to ensure quality work and complete the projects within the stipulated time. He emphasized that the people of Obuasi East deserve timely delivery of development projects and assured the communities of his continued commitment to improving health and educational facilities across the municipality.
