Eugene Kofi Amankwa, CEO of Eugenmat Travel and Consult, recently stepped up to help the Obuasi Ambulance Service. After the leadership of the Ghana Ambulance Service in Obuasi reached out for help, Mr. Amankwa responded quickly. They explained that their ambulance vehicles were in urgent need of new tires to stay on the road.
This is not the first time the CEO has stepped up for his town. Last year, he gave 10,000 Ghana Cedis to the Obuasi branch of the Ghana Fire Service. That contribution helped repair their fire tender after the media highlighted their needs.
By providing these tires to the Obuasi Ambulance Service, Mr. Amankwa is helping to keep life-saving vehicles moving. We must all remember that in an emergency, a well-maintained ambulance is the only thing that can get a patient to the hospital in time.
