AGA Health Foundation Marks Independence Day with Traditional Fugu

Management of the AngloGold Ashanti (AGA) Health Foundation, led by Dr. Kwadwo Anim, Executive Director of AGA Health Foundation, joined staff in wearing traditional fugu to mark Ghana’s Independence Day celebration. The colorful display of the northern Ghanaian attire was aimed at promoting Ghanaian culture and patriotism while celebrating the country’s freedom and unity.

Dr. Kwadwo Anim noted that leadership must always be by example, which is why management decided to participate in the activity alongside staff. According to him, such initiatives help strengthen unity among workers and encourage staff to appreciate and promote Ghanaian cultural values.

He further assured that the AGA Health Foundation remains committed to providing quality healthcare services to the good people of Obuasi. He emphasized that the facility will continue to work tirelessly to ensure residents receive the best possible medical care. 🇬🇭
